Saint-Gervais and Évasion Mont-Blanc: an exceptional ski area

Saint-Gervais is part of the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, one of the largest in the French Alps with 445 km of marked pistes, 215 lifts and 5 linked resorts. From our apartment, about ten minutes from the slopes and the gondola (ski shuttle), you can easily reach the entire ski area.

Whether you're a beginner or an expert skier, Saint-Gervais offers an unmatched experience, always with Mont-Blanc (4,808 m) as a backdrop.

The 10 must-ski runs from Saint-Gervais

1. La Perle - Green run (Saint-Gervais)

The ultimate beginner run. Wide, sunny, with a direct view of Mont-Blanc. Ideal for first turns or for children discovering skiing. Starts at the top of the Saint-Gervais télébébé (beginners' lift).

2. Les Nants - Blue run (Saint-Gervais)

This 3 km blue run is the favorite of intermediate skiers in Saint-Gervais. Steady slope, perfectly groomed, panoramic view over the Arve valley. Accessible from the Nants chairlift.

3. Le Bûcher - Red run (Saint-Gervais)

For confident skiers, this challenging red run offers a 500 m vertical drop through a splendid forest setting. Watch for narrow sections early in the season.

4. La Grande Rampe - Red run (Megève)

From Saint-Gervais, reach Megève via the Croix chairlift. La Grande Rampe in Megève is a classic: a 4 km descent with breathtaking views, varied terrain and always well-groomed.

5. La Pierre - Black run (Saint-Gervais)

Saint-Gervais's iconic black run. A sustained 35% gradient, with a challenging start wall. For experienced skiers only. Used as the slalom course during local competitions.

6. Côte 2000 - Off-piste (Saint-Gervais-Megève sector)

For skiers comfortable off the marked pistes, the Côte 2000 zone offers variations between Saint-Gervais and Megève. Best skied with a high-mountain guide after a fresh snowfall.

7. Les Alpages - Blue run (Saint-Gervais)

Accessible from Saint-Gervais via Megève, the Saint-Gervais pistes on the Alpages side are known for their late-season snow cover (north-facing) and their long, 5+ km descents.

8. Joly Express - Descent (Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce)

One of the finest link runs in the ski area. 6 km, 900 m of vertical drop, an absolute feeling of freedom with Mont-Blanc right in front of you.

9. Le Schuss - Red run (Les Contamines)

Les Contamines-Montjoie, reachable from Saint-Gervais by heading back up through the ski area, has the best snow cover in the area (north-facing, 1,164 m altitude). Le Schuss is a fast, fun red run.

10. Le Panoramique - Blue run (Hauteluce)

Hauteluce is the most authentic village in the ski area. Its panoramic blue run, with views over the Beaufortin, is worth the detour from Saint-Gervais on its own.

Évasion Mont-Blanc lift passes

The Évasion Mont-Blanc adult day pass starts from €46 on weekdays. Multi-day passes are available at the Saint-Gervais ticket office or online on the Évasion Mont-Blanc website. Buying online is best to avoid queues.

Equipment rental in Saint-Gervais

Several ski rental shops are located just a few minutes away, near the Saint-Gervais slopes. Book your equipment online before you arrive to get discounts (up to -30%).

ESF Saint-Gervais offers group and private lessons for all ages. The snow gardens for children under 6 are set up at the foot of the Saint-Gervais slopes.
